- If you prefer post, send a signed letter to the postal address above, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer.
- You will receive an acknowledgement within 72 hours.
- The grievance will be resolved within 30 days of acknowledgement, unless the complexity requires a reasoned extension, in which case we will say so in writing before the 30 days expire.
If you are not satisfied
If the Grievance Officer’s response does not resolve the matter, you may approach:
- The Data Protection Board of India (once operational) under section 27 of the DPDPA 2023.
- The Grievance Appellate Committee established under Rule 3A of the IT Rules 2021, for grievances about content on the Service.
- The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) – Policyholder Protection & Grievance Redressal Department – for grievances that relate to a surveyor’s conduct in the course of an IRDAI-regulated appointment, via policyholder.gov.in.
- The appropriate civil or criminal court at Jaipur, Rajasthan, subject to any arbitration agreement in the applicable enterprise contract.
Please note. The Grievance Officer handles grievances
about data handling and content; the Officer is not a substitute for
IRDAI’s own grievance machinery on insurance-claim disputes. If
your complaint is about the outcome of an insurance claim,
first approach your insurer’s Grievance Redressal Officer and,
if unresolved, the IRDAI Bima Bharosa portal.
