Panel dent, windscreen crack or paint damage from a bird strike while the vehicle was in motion; and damage to engine-bay wiring, air-intake, filters and dashboard panels caused by birds (pigeons, mynahs, parakeets) nesting under the bonnet or in the air-intake housing.

Surveyor's verdict / key conditions सर्वेयर की जाँच
Impact strike while in motion → payable under OD (external, accidental). Nest-related damage inside the engine bay is treated like rodent damage — payable only if the add-on is in force, and insurer wants garage certification + photos of the nest, feathers / droppings. Reject a strike claim without any damage pattern consistent with impact (feather lodged in grille, impact smear). Keep in mind: a parked vehicle collecting droppings and nesting material over months is maintenance, not insurable loss.
